223/204

Has anyone attempted to convert 223 brass to 204 Ruger?

You could try running it through your die and see. Lubed of course.

But I think it'll be too short. Too bad, since there's plenty of .223 around.

It would be too short. You can make them from .222 rem mag but those are likely harder to find than .204 these days.
