Modifying in MA
Hello all,
First off let me apologize if this is the incorrect place to be posting this question, but this is my first post here and I'm still finding my way around. Anyway, i have just purchased my first AR style rifle and as is the fad, I am in the process of making it "mine". I've come to the rear of the rifle and decided that the plain old stock has got to go and will be replaced with a Magpul or Vltor stock. This is where I'm having a problem. I'm from MA, and can't seem to find out anywhere a simple yes or no as to whether I'm allowed to order a collapsible stock kit from a company online and have it shipped here. If anyone could help me out with an answer to this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if i can't do it the "easy way", could i get away with ordering a new buffer tube and just the actual stock piece and put the thing together myself? Again, thanks in advance. |

Not to drive you away from this forum - and some here probably know your answer - but the guys here will know the answer and it's probably available right now. http://northeastshooters.com/vbullet...splay.php?f=81

You can only have two "Evil" features on an AR. Also most stocks that look like they have a collapsible stock really are pinned. best way to get around this is try and buy a preban lower, you can pretty much put anything on it. MA sucks best advice is to get out, thats my plan. the people over at northeast shooters are great even in the free sections.
