Here is my little man cave. You can't tell in the pictures, but all the shelf compartments are 2-3 rows deep. All the ammo cans under the bench are full also....I'd estimate about 125,000 rounds, gotta be ready for anything! I shoot a lot of trap and skeet competitively which is the reason for all the different gauge loaders, along with IDPA pistol. The black file cabinet has about 15,000 loaded rounds of 12,20,28 and 410 shells in it. I don't have a wide enough angle lens to get it all in one picture, so I had to piece it together

And I didn't even show you my converted closet that is packed full of all the reloading components that I can't fit on my benches!

Bin Question

Ok here is a question that I would like info on... I am thinking about going to Harbor Freight tomorrow to get some Plastic Bins for my bench and to help in the Reloading process. Does anyone have an opinion on what Size bins I should get? I am thinking about having Bins to hold Brass awaiting to be loaded and also a couple bins to catch finished rounds. I was looking on Harbor Freight and they have a couple Bin racking setups that have pull out bins, and also some that you mount on the wall. I have open wall at the back of my Bench under my window. Let me know what you guys think. thank you

get different sizes!!! lol

I started with some small ones and they did fine but then I increased my out put and got some tupperware type containers... big mistake cuz I didn't care to much for them.

Then I dished out for some Large bins (like the bins on the dillon 1050, but red) Anywhoo those are great for sorting and if you can get a couple and build a rack you will do great by having your brass easily visible yet sorted.

I always use 2 bins at a time. Like for trimming and swaging and so fourth. take one out of bin 1 and swage/trim and place in bin #2 and repeat lol

It may not be fancy jtuck, but all loading benches are a thing of beauty. I love that top you have on yours.

The difference a couple days can make when you decide that you want to make it functional. I just CANT wait tell my loader gets here. It was supposed to have shipped from WI on Wednesday. Will those Case holder work for powder filling? I am still not sure if I understand the Case holder thing yet.

case holder = something that doesn't allow your case to topple over and ruin the reload process. No other purpose really.

My turn

I built mine 40 years ago. Seeing some of these setups makes me very jealous!

Well here is my Finished REloading Bench. I had to add the 2x6 on the Side to mount the Press due to not being able to get Bolts long enough to go through the 2x6 standing on side on the edge of the Table. Everything works perfect and all I am doing is waiting for .40 Cal FMJ's to arrive and I should be loading by the weekend. Not too bad for my first Reloading Bench.

Nice looking setups guys! I just got into reloading about a month ago so I don't have a lot of stuff yet. I've loaded around 250 rounds so far. It's a Lee Challenger press with the Lee Autoprime and powder measurer. Works great! Realoading is so much fun, I'm officially an addict. If I'm not down there screwing around with something I'm finding myself researching and planning loads to make. So far I load .22-250, .220 Swift, .25-06, .308 and .300 WSM.

Kitchen Table

I bought my Dillon 550 last year and wanted to be able to use it at any time, so I bolted it to the kitchen table. I wasn't using it to eat off of anyway. The garage has too much temperature fluctuation during winter months and it's not heated. The table works pretty well, but I want something a little more sturdy, so I think I am going to get a workbench from Harbor Freight. I looked at one yesterday and it seems sturdy and the drawers will be good for storage. It's also on sale until 5/11. I will build a small shelving unit to mount to the back for storage also. I also have a small pantry in the kitchen I use for storage of bulk bullets, brass, powder, primers, corn cob, walnut and anything else that won't fit on my bench.

"BigAl, I guessing your single."

Why do you say that? Because I don't eat at the kitchen table or because my 550 is bolted to it? Good guess anyway.

I built my bench back in 1984 and never imagined that I would need more room. I do my shot shell reloading in the basement, becasue there isn't enough room to store the wads, hulls, and shot in my gun room.

The left hand portion of the bench, above the scales, is a powder mill. There are 3 seperat soldered bins that feel similar as the powder trickler by using the rods that protrude from the panel. They feed into a small hopper down a tube into the pan of the scale.

There are some really well thought out ideas that you guys have come up with.

Here's mine. I don't do a lot of reloading so I went with something portable. When I'm ready to reload I just wheel it out to a table. All my tools and dies are in the drawers. When done I pack it back up and put it in the man cave.
