...and a year or two later the government collapses because the ants were the only ones paying taxes in the first place.

Dear Stealy, not really!

The government, realizing that the ants cant possibly
pay enough taxes even if they were taxed at a 100 % tax rate

meerly prints up large quantities of more paper money to the point that a 2002 dollar is equal to 3 cents of a 1930 dollar.

Thats why that 2 cent loaf of bread in 1930 now costs
$2.89 in the supermarket and also why I by my bread at
the frieholfer's thrift store for 75 cents, not 2.89 same bread
same exploration date.

We can't beat inflation because the government continues to just print up more and more money, but we can take a few steps to keep what money we do have from melting away in our hands.

Yes, I see the US government ripping me off day after day and time and time yet again and it constantly maddens me terribly but there is not much that I can do about it.

Not one of my elected so called representitives gives even half a dam and yet some how people continue to elect liberal tax and overspenders, then tax yet again and overspend some more.

It never stops and continues to get even worst.
