Springfield XDM 45 BiTone

What kind of price is this gun really worth? I've been seeing this gun go for $700-$800. And the all black version going for $650.

I have a feeling these are STEEP! prices but my question is this:

Are the prices going to get worse before they get better?

In the 4.5" barrel model

I paid $643 in June of 2010 right after they first became available and were in very high demand. Mine is all black and that is what I prefer because there are things like perspiration that will still form rust on stainless steel where the melonite coating is actually more rust resistant. And the black model is less likely to reflect light at the wrong time. My choice is tactical over cosmetic. The Bi-Tones have always ran a little higher in price than the black version. Pre-Obama 2nd term, $700 would have been too high. Maybe not so much in our current situation. It's totally up to you and how bad or soon you want one. I couldn't see myself paying over $700 for the Bi-Tone if I did prefer it over the black model and wanted one tomorrow. JMO.

I have the XDm 3.8 compact in .45 and I paid $600 pre Sandy Hook hysteria.
