Help with identifying gun

I have a W.C. Scott side by side shotgun. It is a black powder gun and has no numbers of any kind on the gun. I have just started researching the gun and really don't know much about it other than it belonged to my father in law and was in his closet when he passed away. HELP!

Post a pic or two in the Harley Nolden's Institute for Firearms Research section or the Black Powder section of this forum....there's a wealth of knowlege on here and I'm sure someone would be able to help you out.
