Good Eats...Deep Fried Pistol

Linky

Fortunately no one was hurt. I'd imagine of all the incidents that occur with firearms odd things like this happen from time to time, but don't get more than regional coverage. Anyone else have a similarly odd incident occur in their area?

I'm more curious as to what firearm it was.

Article says it was a Beretta. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on a 92 or a variation thereof, but it could be something else too.

More questions than answers in that story, but if I were a betting woman, I'd lay odds that one of the participants is a convicted felon.

Sounds to me like someone was trying to scare someone else, the cops got called, the Scare-er decided the gun needed to go bye-bye and, plunk, into the fryer.

"Biscuit" is slang for "gun?" I learn something new every day.

It does sound like a guilty party was trying to hide the thing.

Since losing some weight and getting in better shape I am not as interested in fried foods as I once was. I would like to take a close look at that pistol though. I also thought the biscuit remark had the smell of fish...I guess I need a snack.

Whole Foods in TX sells chicken fried tofu. That would go well with a side of fried handgun.

What a silly thread.
