Savage model 24 VA Selector
Bought a model 24 20 ga/30-30. Selector was broken and need to repair or find a place to purchase. Already looked at various web sites including Gunbroker and wisners. Would building up some metal by brazing and then grinding down to fit work? Any other suggestions.

In the past I have fixed a few of them.
Your best bet is to TIG weld them with a high grade carbon steel. Brazing would be too soft. Edward5759 |
