Bad threading on tipton rod?

I got a 27+ cal Tipton deluxe 1 piece carbon fiber 36" rod earlier this year and love it, all my brushes and accessories for great. So I just ordered the same rod just in 22+ cal 36", according to their product info both should be 8-32 threading, problem is none of my stuff threads on. An I missing something here? The threaded holes look about the same but I don't have thread gauges to check the new one.

Some rods do have odd thread pitch.
One of mine is like that, also .22rimfire.
If it's not a standard pitch, there should be an adapter with it.
If not, the threads can be retapped for the accessories you have.
Any decent hardware store clerk should be able to help with that.
