what is the value of a Universal shotgun

I have found a Universal brand 12 Ga semi auto shotgun model 7512 that I want to buy. It appears never to have been fired, NIB, black composite stock with 2 barrels, f/m choke. Part of a collection of a friend's deceased father in law. Looks very nice, similar to an 1100/1187. Quality looks great on the outside. Haven't been able to find any info on the web or in books. Seen a few O/U from Universal with model numbers 751x and in the $1000 range. Not that interested unless this is something really special. Any one know anything about it or who might have manufactured it?
