Nedd Info S&W Special CTG
Hello All,
we just came across an older pistol in my father in laws closet & would like some help identifying its prod. year & fair market value. It is Nickel & has a 4 " barrell.....fixed sites. Barrel says 38 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG. Serial # is on butt of handle 2D76524 ...... I opened the cylinder & it says MOD. 10-5 it also says 32829 or 32S29 & B10 He was in the Air Force during Korea.....if that helps. Thanks for any help |

Can't help with the value, but this revolver should have been made in 1962.

Your father-in-law has a Smith & Wesson Model 10 (also called the Military and Police model) in 38 Special. The fact that it is nickeled means it is not a military weapon, so he got it from a civilian source. Value is about $300.
