Para GI LTC review

I have been looking for a 1911 and I found a used Para GI LTC for under 600. I have not heard many reviews on them and I do not know if that is a price for a one or would it be best to go with a new gun. I have like the commander size and this one it that. RIA has some for less but not sure which is the better deal. Any advise?

I have not tried specifically the GI Expert LTC, but I have shot a full-size GI Expert extensively and I consider it a fine example of a 1911. Over the years I have owned several Para-Ordnance pistols, and I still own the first one I bought -- a P12.45, which has been discontinued for several years.

I also have immense respect for Rock Island pistols, but if you have found a GI Expert LTC in good condition that's within your price range, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I have both the P12.45 and the P16.40 from Para Ordnance. I love both pistols and am constantly on the lookout for a compact LDA. You can't go wrong with Para.

Aquila, Cheaper than Dirt has twelve round magazines (and a 20 round magazine) for the P12.45 in stock. I just bought several.
