Massive .44Mag Mailbox
I thought everyone might get a kick out of this....a local guy who does carpentry on the side made this over-sized .44Mag mailbox. The craftsmanship is excellent, I drove by it on the way home yesterday and never really saw anything like it.

The "would you want this mailbox in your neighborhood" poll made my eyes roll so hard it hurt.

Next thing you know the guy across the street will up the ante and outgun him with a Desert Eagle, or a Barrett

That is so cool, that would be a great complement to my 629 Classic DX (not sure why he omitted the "6" on there. It's obviously a stainless gun.) I have a feeling the neighbors would object, however.

That's pretty awesome but it has been done before. There was a similar picture floating around the 'net for years.
Here it is: http://www.strangedangers.com/images/content/162004.JPG

The comments were hilarious. Someone on that site apparently drives by it everyday and was afraid it would go off at first. My eyeballs fell out of my skull I rolled them so hard.
Would be cool if you can cock the hammer to show that there's mail instead of a red flag. Then you press the trigger and all your junk mail just shoots out all over the road. Though i imagine express mail isn't an issue to him. With a gun that big and the right degree of elevation you can probably shoot a package to it's destination atleast a couple of states over. |

Red flag, pics...
That post was clever. I like the S&W revolver with the red USPS flag. Handy.
I've seen a 1911a1 .45 mail box pic a few years ago. Clyde |

You can't have pictures of big gun mailboxes without pictures of big gun grills.
