x-treme plated bullets
anyone ever try the x-treme copper plated rounds? Just wondering if they are any good, and if there are any tricks to loading them. X-treme says to treat em like a comparable fmj, and keep the velocity under 1500 fps, atleast for the 9mm 124gr RN.

Ive been loading the 115 9mm RN bullets and they are great. They have a nice thick plating and see to work great for me. The price is right too.

I've loaded many thousands of Xtreme bullets in 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP, and love them. I keep them between cast & JHP loads, and havent tried to push them too hard.

I have ran many many thousands of xtreme bullets over the years in 9mm, 357, 44mag, and 30 carbine. They have some of the thickest plating and hardest cores of any of the plated bullets that I have tried. I have driven them pretty hard too. I doubt you could run them hard enough in a 9mm to hurt them; I haven't found a load in 9mm that was too hot for them including max. jacket data loads of AA#7 (the old data at that).
