Colt 9mm AR 15 question

I have a Colt 9mm AR-15 Sporter (fixed A2 stock, A1 upper, no bayo lug and threaded muzzle) that I am thinking of putting a telestock on. I don't want the plastic 6 position telestock for this particular toy, and prefer the aluminum 4 position version to the plastic version, having broken a couple of plastic telestocks in years past.

Also, my son has talked me into the "old school" look of the 4 position version. Boy do I feel old.

Question is, I'm looking at the DSA 4 position aluminum telestock. Considering that my Colt has an A2 stock, do I need to get a different buffer, like the RRA 9mm buffer, or will the original buffer work in this telestock? Anyone know "for sure" Haven't gotten word back from either Colt or DSA yet.

Thanks
