Chokes and Suppressers

I need a lesson as when or if to use a supprresseor and I have two shotguns. Can i remove the choke on my CZ to use the suppesser off the Tri-Star, both 12gauges of course. Please help with if's and why's which means i need to know which choke to use for what. Thank you

Are you talking about a suppressor as being a silencer (rare on shotguns), flash hider, recoil reducer, or what?

Is this one of the Hastings suppressors that are 3' long and screw into the choke thread?

If you are asking if CZ-USA and TriStar use the same screw-in choke tubes, the answer is: perhaps. Both guns generally use the Beretta/Benelli-style choke tubes, but your specific models may not.

Thanks, when i checked further i found that the surpressor is the fire hider and screwed on the outside and the choke screwed on the inside.I'll get the hang of this shotgun stuff yet. When i was a kid the only shotguns that were available to me just had a barrel and no gadgets on the end. I'm thinking of trading the tri-Star for another handgun.I like the CZ better anyway.
