I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on the Chech Scorpian .32 machine pistol. Are they available in the US? If so any idea what price range?

Isn't the Skorpion the Czech model and the Scorpion a clone that was made by Colt (in .32)?

There seem to be few transferable Skorpions in the country. Prices on the one or two I've seen advertised were high. Post May dealer samples have been advertised from $500 to $1,500 each. One of the advertisers in Small Arms Review has had them.
I'd really like to get a chance to shoot one of these. Something about them appeals to me.

I don't think Colt ever made anything like the Skorpion.

Sometimes the Skorpions are spelled with a "c" .

There are some semi-auto Skorpions made in 9mm that I've seen in Shotgun News and elsewhere (a company called FAC if I remember right).

I'd really like to shoot one (the full auto kind) too; anyone know of any Class 3 ranges that might have one?

The most usual scorpion is a czech-made, somewhat bulky handgun with a rudimentary folding stock.
It shoots the .32 acp, out of a 10 or 20 round magazine.
But there were some in .380 and 9mm Makarov.
To prevent excessive firing rates it has a device to slow down.
There exists a original silencer to it, which is rather simply built, but it works with the weak cartridge quite efficient.
