I have beefy fingers and the trigger guard on a glock 21 doesnt have the room I need?
I've been carrying a clock 21 for three years now. The only complaint I have with it is the trigger guard. I have big hands and thick fingers. The 21 fits my hand perfectly but the trigger guard is tight on my fingers and sometimes a little stumbly to get my finger inside in a safe to shooting situation. So I am looking for a few ideas on guns that are comparable to the size, shape, etc, of a Glock 21 and has a larger area inside the trigger guard. I am not picky on DA/SA, brand, etc. I am just looking into a new handgun and I am hoping their is something out their that can match this last very small criteria while still having what I have already found works for me in the Glock 21.
Thanks. I did forget to add, I am looking for a replacement .45, not switcing to another caliber. Last edited by alec.ray; September 26, 2012 at 11:47 PM. |

H&K pistols tend to have large trigger guards. Their idea is for them
to be easy to use with gloves on. |

M9/P92/PT92 seems to have a large guard
Beretta PX4 and 90two seemed to have large guards as well. I should point out I have no idea how big the G21 is(isn't that big 10mm?) |

The Glock 21 is the big .45 ACP, but it's the same size as the 10mm Glock 20.
OP, I agree that H&Ks are a good bet for a larger trigger guard.

Isn't the Glock trigger guard very thick plastic? How about grinding out the inside of the guard to make it roomier?
