Wards Model 215A rubber recoil pad?
Howdy Lead Spitters...copper spitters...steel spitters...regulations regulations regulations New to the forum world, but from what I've read from these threads there's quiet a few gun savy mothers here; and that just happens to be what I'm looking for.
I recently picked up an old Wards Western Field Model 215A real cheap from my work. On it right now is the original plastic butt pad, but I'm not digging it. I don't like the look or the feel of it. I've read into the slip on recoil pads and I've considered them but I don't like their looks either and the amount of cushion they give is more then necessary for this little twenty gauge. What I have found that is intriguing are those Limbsaver's Grind-To-Fit pads. Here's the one I'm thinking of getting: https://www.limbsaver.com/store/prod...9&cat=0&page=1 The only thing that sucks about these pads is that they cost more then what I paid for the actual gun. Anyone have any experiences with these pads or know of any other recoil pads I could use for my shotty? |
