Glock 17 OD frame

My first ever semi-auto pistol is a G17, only 2 years old. She hasn't been modified a bit from when I got her. Standard everything. I would like to dump some money into her and make some upgrades (even if only cosmentic). I would really like to get an OD green frame which I can just rack my slide onto. Does anyone know where I can get just a Glock 17 OD frame? I don't mind ordering it online, as my dealer doesn't carry OD frames alone.

On a side note, I also want to replace my sights. If you have tried and true aftermarket sights which work well for you, list em up and ill do the research. I prefer three-dot sights.

As always, thank you soooo much in advance. TFL has become a major source of information to me, especially since I'm relatively new to the shooting community.

The frame is a firearm all by itself as far as the law is concerned. You can't generally purchase them separately.

As for the sights, your options are almost limitless with the G17. If you want night sights, Trijicon, Meprolight, and Ameriglo all make great 3-dot sights for the G17.

That's just ridiculous. Is an AR lower considered a firearm as well?

Yeah, it's crazy that you have to get a FFL transfer for a stripped AR lower yet you can have a complete upper shipped to your house. Anyway, if you are lazy like me you can mail your slide to Heinie and they will install the sights for a fee.
