Were there Singer made guns other than a 1911?
I'm wondering if singer made any other guns than the 1911 for the war effort? Everyone knows about the 1911 but was there anything else? I have heard they did but I can find no info on the subject.

I only know of one for sure. A USGI M1 that was stamped as being from Underwood was actually manufctured by Singer.
My neighbor has one of them. Latigo

Singer never manufactured M1 rifles, nor did Underwood, so I assume you are talking about M1 carbines. Singer never made complete carbines. They did supply some (I don't know the exact number) "white" carbine receivers to Underwood, but the receivers were finished and the carbines assembled by Underwood. Singer's main wartime production was in artillery fire control systems, equipment much more suitable to its type of production system than small arms.
