help with 1892
hi guys i am getting closer to getting all the guns i want for CAS. I and looking at the 1892 rifles or carbines because i have an original that is a wall hanger so i would like one i can shoot. I want 45 LC (same cal. as my pistols) and wanted some feedback on brands that are good. I don't really like the look of the marlins before that one is put in... it just doesn't seem to be much of a replica from the ones Ive seen. I spoke to a gun shop about Puma, the brand they carry and although they said it is a good gun they also pointed out that they have 2 they are sending back because the cartrige camber is actually popping out and scutting past the end of the barrel. maybe just bad luck??? budget not large so around 4 to 5 hundred is where i wanted to stay
thanks

Puma is the name Legacy Sports uses for the Rossi's they import. I have a Rossi 92 in 44-40 and I wouldn't take anything for it. The action was a little rough out of the box but slicked up nice.

I've got the carbine. Either one would work well for CAS but since the rifle is always staged it won't be quicker by much.
