Need help Restoring a Remington 552
I'm going to be restoring a Remington speedmaster 552.
First, I'm not 100% sure if it's a 1976 or 88? I narrowed it down to 1976 because it's a 23.5" barrel. I did look up the letters to confirm one of those two years. Can someone confirm the year based on the barrel length? Second, I would like to know the exact blueing Remington used for that model and year as well as stock and handle guard stain color? Can anyone help me out please? Thanks guys! |

Definitely choice #1. I defy anyone to justify choice #2.

So it's a 76 correct?
Any ideas on blueing or stain original colors? |

And it's not the bdl model if that's going to make any difference in colors.
