Adjusting pull on M9

The factory trigger of roughly 5.5-6lbs on the M9 is a bit more than where it should be IMO. Is there a way to adjust it down to 4-5bls without buying a new trigger assembly? What are my options?

I would think a good gunsmith could tune your trigger/sear for you, but if a factory pack is offered that can reduce it, it may be about the same price. Plus you can retain a "factory" trigger pull, as opposed to a modified one.

There is a simple $5 fix for exactly that. Swap out the FS mainspring for the factory "D" mainspring used in the 92/96 DAO pistols (part number C99001). It will drop the DA pull from 11-12 to 8-9 pounds and the SA pull to what you're asking for. I ordered my springs from Dave Olhasso's site. You can probably find them at Beretta USA's or Brownells' websites.
