9mm makarov reloading

is it unsafe to use .355 dia bullets when reloading 9mm makarov? i know i have to trim cases and resize but that isnt the question thanks

it's debatable ... some feels that smaller diameter bullet might somehow bounce in barrel and cause pressure spike. It will be highly inaccurate in any case plus you won't find any data for this. just use proper diameter bullets for the caliber ... berry's has plated 95g .364 dia bullets 1000 for $84.10, shipping included

I pretty much agree with vladan. The .355 will not rattle in the classic sense, but they will wobble on their front to back and from side to side axis.

Their smaller diameter will allow for the gasses to escape past the bullet and with normal loads will have reduced pressure. Overall they will have reduced velocity, and greatly recduced accuracy at all ranges.
