Vortex Crossfire 3-9x40 V-Plex Reticle
I just ordered my Vortex Crossfire 3-9x40 with the V-Plex Reticle on Optics Planet. Does anyone have this scope, or a similar one? Any good reviews? Let me know what you think about this scope! Thanks!

I have the Crossfire II 3-9x40 with BDC reticle on my .22. It's a great piece of glass. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks!
I almost tore myself to pieces deciding between the Vortex and the Bushnell XLT Bone Collector Series Riflescope which withstood 1,000 rounds of the 375 H&H. I decided on the Vortex because of the warranty and the ability to reset it to zero, which is a great feature.
3 Questions: - How good is the eye relief? - How well does it focus? - Does it get blurry at 9x zoom like low end scopes? |

The eye relief is over 3" as I recall. To not have a parallax adjustment, I feel like the target focus and reticle focus is just fine. I've not had to fiddle with it once I got the eyepiece set. I will say though that at 25 yards it was a stretch (we were playing battleship). I've not had a single problem with the magnification either.
This is one of three Vortex scopes I've got; can't fault any of them. Got a FFP PST 4-16x50 on my .308, a Diamondback 4-12x40 AO on my AR and this Crossfire II on my Marlin .22. These people make good glass, and they're nuts with their warranty. I emailed them before I camo painted my .308 asking if the paint would void my warranty. They stand behind their product regardless.

Well, first you need two boats, a lake, safety glasses, beer....
I linked the targets in my previous post. You and a friend take turns shooting at the target. First one to get a hit in all the ships takes all. Those dots are really small!

Very Cool!
Very cool. Hey I wanted to see what the Vortex Crossfire II looked like on a gun, do you mind posting a picture of your rifle with the scope on it when you get the time? Thanks!

Nice!
Marlin 60, great gun. I have one too, but it's from the 80's with a wood stock that I refinished in ebony, and a $70 center point scope, and a $20 UTG bipod. Thanks for your help! I will post a picture of my Mauser when I get the scope!

I use a 4-16x model on my M1A. Nice scope, very clear glass, and great price point.
