Need help with a Savage model 69RXL

Hi, my dad recently gave me some old guns that had belonged to my granddad, and one of them is an old Savage pump 12ga, model 69rxl series E.

I haven't shot it yet, as I want to check the innards and clean it if needed. I got the mag off, but I'm not quite sure how to proceed without possibly screwing something up or taking apart something that shouldn't be taken apart. I've looked online for guides to disassembling this piece, without much luck.

So I'm wondering if anyone here has access to a copy of the manual or, better yet, has one that they're familiar with and can give me a quick run-down of it?

Thanks in advance, I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Will

That whole series of Savage/Stevens pumpguns is a pain to mess with. I wrote it up for someone not long ago, let me see if I can find it.

eta- take a look at http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...d.php?t=380925 and see if that helps.
