Benelli Nova Tactical...20" good slug gun?

Anyone out there have a nova tactiacl? If so, how does it shoot slugs...pretty accurate. The local store has one and I like the way the gun handles and I LOVE the ghost ring sights. The are so fast in target acquisition. I like rifle sights and all on a slug gun, but think the ghost rings handle quicker for those quick shots. Also, how bad is the recoil on the nova? I figure because of the lightweght it would be pretty bad....granted I rarely shoot 3 inch mags, let alone 3 and 1/2's

Also, I believe it has a 18.5 inch barrel.....is this long enough to be legal for deer in OH and how will it effect accuracy with slugs?
