Uberti 1851 London

Aside from the steel backstrap and trigger guard are there any other differences on the London model?

Other than 'LONDON' embossed in the top of the barrel, no.

Is the shape and size of the backstrap the same as the brass version?

Yep.

I like the look, better than brass. I've toyed with the idea of buying a blued triggerguard for an 1860 Richards-Mason conversion for my 1860 Army, but now that I've done the silver thing I can live with that.

I really don't like brass.
