Serious problem with Springfield TRP
Here is one for you guys.....Shot a springfield TRP today, besides being finished with less quality than a charles daly and shooting right and low 2-2.5 inches this gun has a major defect.
When a round is fired and the slide is cycled, the hammer falls on a chambered round. I dont know if the drop safety kept it from going full auto or what, but the hammer came all the way back, hesitated for a split second, and then fell forward. Then it is very hard to eject the round thats in the chamber, you have to use alot of force to open the chamber. It is going back to Springfield for repairs but do you guys have any ideas what this could be |
