I have searched for any mention of these rifles and haven't found a thing. Does anyone know anything about them, how many were made or anything. I think I am starting to feel like the Lone Ranger here.
I know at least one existed as it resides with me Thanks Karsten |

Hello Karsten, this is what I found. Model 70 Varmit [heavy barrel]. Same as Model 70 Standard, except w/medium-heavy, counter-bored 26-inch bbl., no sights, stock w/ less drop.???? 9 lbs. Calibers 22-250 Rem., 223 Rem., 243 Win., 308 Win. Made 1972-93. Does'nt say how many were produced. Very nice rifle!
