finally knocked the stink off
Got blood this afternoon. I've been getting a little anxious since I've been bowhunting since september and then muzzleloading and gun season has been in for three weeks. Anyway, I was meat hunting so I got a doe about 6:30. Perfect double lung shot at only 20 yards with a great blood trail. She ran about 30 yards. I'm so glad I know I'm not getting skunked this season. Just thought I would share my success. Anyone else wanna tell their's?

Nice job
Congrats.
I got skunked this weekend on the ML season opener. Saw 2 gump deer (running), and lots of turkeys. Also HEARD an extended crow/turkey fight. These crows were harassing these turkeys and almost ran them right to me. I heard more gobbling than I did during late spring turkey season. |

Congrats on the bow kill. I got skunked on Muzzle Loader opener too, in our Toll road state. I am eating bow killed doe though.
Good job on the 30 yard run. Every good blood trail ends in a downed deer.
