Taurus 992 question

Do these Taurus 992 come in 4 inch, and if so does anyone have experince with? I am looking for a beater 22 in 4 inch. My S&W 617 is just too nice to be shot much.

So...you want a low-quality revolver to shoot and a high-quality revolver to look at?

I think the 617 can handle all the looking AND all the shooting you might want.

the ability to shoot .22 magnum also makes it inherently less accurate then a dedicated .22LR revolver since the bore must be larger. That might not matter to you tho. I am sure most wouldn't notice.

I know you also enjoy your model 94 so hey if your happy why not go for it? I'll trade u a 992 for ur 617?
