mossberg 500 breach barrel with front fiber optic sight
Just bought this barrel from local store in town. was getting it ready to install on my mossberg 500 when I noticed the front sight extended into the barrel just a bit. This is my first 18.5" barrel so I need to know if this is normal for this type of barrel or is it going to cause problems when the gun is fired??? Thanks.

If you're talking about the threaded base of the sight extending down through the barrel wall & into the bore enough for a shot charge or slug to hit it, that is not normal & should be corrected before firing.
If I've misunderstood, disregard. Denis |
