Sneak peak at my 1861 Navy revolver
I was out at the range today working with an 1861 Navy revolver. Here's a preview video from. I should have the full video edited and loaded by Sunday.

Can't wait for the new video, looks like it is going to be a good one. 1861 seems to be very accurate.

Mike - I had trouble downloading the video - my internet service at fault.
What '61 Navy are you showing? Pieta or Uberti? I love the Navy - my "go to" is the Uberti '51 - I do have a ASM '61 that was made for CVA - still in the box and never fired. The ASM I have is a beautiful piece - great fit and finish and beautiful wood. For some reason, I keep leaving it in "reserve" and on the shelf - probably afraid to "get it dirty". It balances well in the hand like the '51 does . . . a beautiful sleek design as appealing as the "60 Army and the '62 Pocket Police - in fact, all three would make a nice "trio" to have. Looking forward to the finished video - hope you'll post the link. What little I did get downloaded looks like you were getting a good dose of smoke hanging around - ahhh - the smell of black!

Love your videos! is what got me started on black powder guns, 1858 remmie, and a 1851 navy brasser so far, love them both! Are you still writing for guns of the old west magazine?

I am, but I took some time off, so I haven't been in the last two issues.
You'll see me back in there in the Fall. |
