Savage 212 accuracy.

In the Sept issue of the American Hunter, there's a two page road test of the Savage bolt action, 12 gauge, rifled barrel shotgun.
The claims for the accuracy are amazing.
The author of the article claims to be hitting a 12 inch gong at 243 yds, consistently.
He also says that he has hit a 9 inch gong at 250 yds, with the 20 gauge version, with every try.
It's not a cheap gun, with a retail price of over $600, but with that kind of accuracy, it might be justified.
Anyone here have experience with one of these?

Sorry, I have the 20ga but not the 12.
It's the 200 yard shotgun for me. And for this season, it's dialed in using Hornady SST.
