I need a place to shoot in north Texas
I live in dfw area. I was wondering if there is public land that allows recrational shooting. I just want a place I can go and shoot more than 100 yrds. Maybe try bump firing, just have some good fun.

I suggest 2 things. 1. Ask at a couple of local gunshops. They are far more likely to have this information than a bunch of internet guys from all over God's creation. 2. Do an internet search for shooting ranges and areas near your location. I did that and found loads of good information for your area.
Bump firing can be fun for a magazine or two, done legally of course. You will find it to have no real value besides wasting ammunition.
