I mean MAGAZINE! Thought I might get more attention by using incorrect terms. Anywho, I carry a Colt .45 ACP Lightweight Commander. I got two factory mags and one cheapy POS. What are you recs on quality magazines for my particular firearm?

If the factory mags work, why not order more of those?

I could do that but I was looking for recommendations on alternative manufacturers, as stated before.

+1 on the Wilson 47D's. Nighthawk also makes osome quality 1911 mags - you can see them at www.nighthawkcustom.com -click on "logo merchandise."
BTW, avoid Promag - I haven't heard anything positive about their mags...:barf: |

Chip McCormick Shooting Stars. These are 8 round mags, come in blue or stainless, and seem to be 'bullet proof'. Reasonably priced too.
