Ordering brass and bullets online

I can not find any .44 Special or .45 Colt ammo locally that is not loaded in aluminum casings. So I am looking at placing an order for at least 500 of each. I found a site called http://www.diamondkbrass.com/Handgun-Brass-DKB/. They seem to have very reasonable prices. Has anyone every ordered for this site? Any comments would be great.

Also I am looking a ordering bullets from http://www.berrysmfg.com/products.aspx?c=2.This order is going to be for several 1000 bullets across multiple calibers. Any experience with this vendor?

Any other suggested vendor's would be great.

Berry's bullets work just fine.

For the brass I would check out Star Line.

Berry's is one of the biggest players in the plated-bullet category, and I believe that most people are pretty happy with them. If I were in the market for plated bullets, they're certainly a brand I'd have no problems buying.

I like Starline brass and have gotten good bullets at a good price from Missouri bullets, Oregon trail also has good bullets but are a little more expensive. These are cast lead bullets and not plated.

I agree, Berry's plated bullets are decent. I have used many of them in 38-special and 357 magnum. Also love the starline. Good stuff, no complaints.

I suggest Starline as well for brass. It is some of the best in my opinion. At the moment it is back ordered. They list a date when it should be available. I found the date is fairly close to when they will be made. Just add a week or two to that date for it to arrive.

When ordering from them directly you need to order in lots of 500 or 1000. My last order was for .357 Mag brass and I'm pleased with it.

reloading bullets

Check out midatlanticbullets.com - I have used their 9mm lead bullets and find them great. They also offer several versions of .45's including a match grade target shape. Some backorder there too.

Before I started casting I ordered 45, 44, and 38's from midatlanticbullets.com. They are good stuff and were a pleasure to work with. They were very prompt to correct and error in my shipment. Bob is a real stand up guy, he even emailed me a month later to ask how I liked the product.

Sometimes, the Berry's bullet are less costly when ordered through one of the many reloading supply companies. You will need to wait until the current madness/panic dies down to see this.

I hope you have already placed your order because it appears Berry's is not taking orders at this time.

Precision Delta makes a pretty good bullet. They are taking orders but are back logged. Montana Gold has a limit of one case per order. There is also delays there as well.
