Best round for 12 gauge double barrel

What is the best round for cowboy action shooting for the stoeger side by side?

In 12 gauge, most folks use Winchester AA Featherlights - AA12FL8

Remington STS is also a fine choice. Avoid ribbed hulls, they can stick costing seconds on the clock.

I use AA hulls, Black Powder or substitutes, Wads and cards from Circle Fly all loaded on the Lee shotshell loader.

Nothing looks as good as BP shotgunning!!

Until you step on one by accident LOL!
I would love to make a switch to brass cases for my CAS BP loads. But at $2.00 a round that adds up fast!

Amen to that! Brass just looks cool.

You should also wear a bandolier full of them to add to the cool factor.

AA hulls are good too. They're usually pretty easy to find.
