win 94 questions
i have an old looking winchester 94. i dont think it is a pre 64 could some one help me find out what its worth?
it has an octogon barrel that is stamper 30-30 model 94 winchester classic. it also has a saddel ring. the serial # is in the 3200000. this serial # puts it at a post 64 right? did they come with saddel rings and an octigon barrel after 64? i called cabelas but the guy there was a horses @#$ and talked me in circles and never realy told me any thing. |

Yes, they made several saddle ring/octagon barrel versions post-64. Yours is early 1970s production.

thats what i thought. i saw the words classic and figured it was newer. the nubers didnt look right either, i think the pre64 cut off was in the 27s

FWIW, the Model 94 Classic was made between 1967 & 1970, with either a 20" or 26" octagonal bbl and a black chromed receiver.
