I was in a rush before, just had a quick look at it {the link in the first post of the thread} & it looks pretty ominous

They want folks to identify all their guns on their tax forms....

In general, it seems to be they are going to ammend a few things (aimed at handguns & parts of handguns) & the meaning of 'handgun'

Also, by the looks of it, slug every handgun produced with a $50 tax

How sleezy! I would be lookin' into this one if I were you guys. I am sure the NRA have their eyes on it tho.... still, take a look

The guy in the last post said it is something old, but 'has a grain of truth' so it is prolly dealt with, but worth takin' a look. There is a good link to a couple of sites dealing with 'rumours' in emails etc
