Beretta Mod. 20 - .25 Cal. Made in USA
Apologies if I am in the wrong forum.....
In 1984, before my husband died, he bought me a Beretta Mod. 20 - .25 Cal, Made in the USA. I know how to load and shoot it; however, my husband bought the bullets, and the last of the box of bullets was lost when I moved. I have just taken the Beretta out of retirement from its box and need to know if there is any special type or brand of .25 Cal. I should buy and the best place online to purchase. I have two more questions, but I think it is best to post one question at a time. Thank you from Miki |

Hello Miki. You want to look for .25 acp or also called .25 auto. Do you have any local gun shops by you? Ammunition is getting pretty scarce these days and you may have a hard time finding .25 acp/auto locally. I've had luck ordering online from Cabelas. Good luck to you and welcome to the forums!

Stick with FMJ ammo for penetration. American eagle and Fiocchi are good.

I know AIM Surplus has some Prvi in stock.
http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.as...Box&groupid=22 It's not the best ammo, but it should go bang.

Problem....already!
After lots of online searching, I found FMJ Fiocchi .25 acp (50 grain -- whatever that is?) in stock.....Alas!!....I live in Los Angeles, CA......it seems shipping to my location is not allowed.
Guess I will have to find a gun store....already I feel my rights disappearing Do I need to bring the original registration to the gun store....if I can find it, it most likely was registered in my husband's name since it was a surprise gift, and I was not with him when he bought it for me. Miki |

Their is no "original registration"
The gun was registered with the state at the time of purchase (assuming it was bought in CA) For ammo try : Walmart Big 5 sporting goods Turner's Outdoorsman

If that gun was bought out side of CA and youre moving into CA, then you need to fill out this form. In regards to the ammo, just start calling around. Turners should be a good start. Good luck |
