Streamlight 69260 TLR-1 tact light for CCW
Have a NcStar light on my Home gun and its good for what its needed for. But Im looking for a quality light for my everyday carry SR9. Its going to be a in the waist in a Alien Gear Original holster which is a leather/klydex holster. Still waiting on reply from Alien gear in they have the mold or not for the combination but a local guy can vacuum mold a klydex for me while I wait and I can drill and fit it to my base.
Any one have experience with the Streamlight TLR-1? How about carry it on a CCW? Do not think comfort will be an issue as the Alien gear is amazing. Im thinking more about durability and function. I've tried it with the NcStar and the damn thing kept turning it self on. Any other reliable options? Any help is appreciated. Thanks Last edited by hoss1969; October 20, 2014 at 04:32 PM. Alien Gear got back to me and said the dont have a shell for the light gun combo. So I guess its off to the local guy to form one for me to fit my base if i go with the light.
