Adjustable Rear Sight Replacement
Saturday I was looking at my BHP and the large Millett adjustable rear sights. I had an old fixed retro style 1911 rear sight laying around, so I wondered what I would look like with that sight installed and would it even be the correct height. I loosened the set screws and taped out the Millett, but the standard 1911 would not fit. The base had a different angle and was loose in the slides dovetail cut.
What angle is cut into the slide of the standard BHP adjustable and do the Millett's have a different cut?? What other sights will fit the existing cut. tex
