Scope question, Bushnell over Redhead?
I have an 870 Wingmaster TB that I got for trap that i am thinking of using for deer. A buddy of mine is big on hunting and he is trying to get me out with him. Now that I own a shotgun and have expectations for free time I want to get some advice. Basspro has there RedHead scopes for about the same price ($10-$15 dollars less) as the Bushnell Banner series 3-9X40 that I am looking at. I don't want to pay over $100.
Are the RedHead scopes any good? Are the Bushnell Banner series scopes any good? Do I have to get one that states it is for shotguns? Have you used one and have personal experience with them? Should i not shoot slugs through my 30" full barrel (Maryland doesn't allow buck shot)? |
