I prefer Kick-EEZ.../ unless you want to invest in something like a GraCoil...

They both work, but I don't like the supersoft tacky pads. I like a Pachmyr better, but that's just me.

Recoil pads ; Limbsaver or Remington Super Cell ?
I have LimbSaver recoil pads on two of my shotguns and it reduces the recoil quite nicely.

The supercell that came on my 870 supermag tames 3" shells very nicely. A friend of mine put a limb saver on his model 70 30-06 and it also works real well. Kind of a toss up

I have a Super Cell on my 870 and like it. I really liked that it is made for the 870 and fits with not adjustment or grinding.

I just shot my new 870 Synthetic (18 1/2") today and while it has been a number of years since I fired a shotgun, I don't remember ever getting this bruised and sore, even with 2 3/4" #7 shot shells.
I came home and immediately ordered a Remington SuperCell. For $23 delivered I thought I'd give it a try before I spend more money on the other options. All the reviews I read from people with synthetic stocks were very positive. |

I put a grind to fit pachmayer on the Pardner I recently bought. Happy.

My 870P came with what they called an R3 recoil pad - Anyone know how that compares to Super Cell or maybe it's just another name or something? Not sure. I'm pretty happy with it, but should add I don't have much experience shooting a variety of other shotguns with different pads.
