Made in America flashlights

Besides the Maglite are there any other flashlights that are made in America.

I still love my 6-cell Maglite. Plenty of light and it's great for cracking heads if the need arises.

Surefire flashlights are made in USA, I believe.

Expensive, but high quality.

All I buy are American made Surefire flashlights. $$$ yep, but worth every penny. Get the new LED units. Better battery & bulb life. I own 7 Surefires and 3 Maglights.

I just got the SureFire Z2 LED Combat Light and I LOVE IT!! Its design is such that it pairs up with a pistol in a comfortable grip. It took some getting used to, but it feels quite natural after practicing with it. Definitely money well spent (whether my wife agrees or not isn't important!

The US is not lagging in any technology. The problem is that the people who make the US products like to get paid.

I won't buy anything thats not US made unless we just don't make it. Then if I don't really need it I do without.

Yep. Unfortunately, so many "U.S." companies are just a shell of their former selves and now just use their brand to launder Chinese-made products back into the U.S. I work for such a company and hardly a day goes by that we don't see more and more of our job functions going overseas because the Chinese/Taiwanese "Can do it better" ("better" meaning cheaply).

It goes like this: Someone goes to WallyWorld or some other place and wants to pay the dirt-cheapest price for whatever it is they're looking to buy. In order to meet the lowest price points, manufacturers look overseas for cheap, semi-skilled labor to make their stuff. The companies squeeze every last penny from every deal with the overseas manufacturers to get the lowest price, while the overseas manufacturers in turn try to cut every corner possible to get those pennies back. In the end, you get flaming laptop batteries, melamine in dog food, lead paint on toys, etc.

You get what you pay for - things are cheap for a reason.

The new LED Maglites are great. If you have old Maglites you can buy LED bulbs for them. Maglites are still a great quality flashlight.

Dont forget Norfolk's own Blackhawk!
Their flashlights are made in Montana I beleive...

I have owned 2 Surefires (6P and G3, both stolen

) and a Blackhawk Gladius. Loved em all...

I am getting a little down on Blackhawk. One of the selling points for me was the lifetime "no BS" warranty. My fanny pack's zipper is shot and I sent a e-mail to get a RA # and I received a e-mail back with 5 or 6 questions that seem to be prepping me for the denial.

Might try a comapny called NEBO tools. They have a lot of LED lights as well as other things. They are out of Grand Prairie Texas.

That's interesting, because I bought my Blackhawk Gladius flashlight as a demo model, so technically it shouldn't have been warranty eligible. Sure enough it broke, and they fixed it with no questions, or requiring any proof of purchase...

In my opinion you can't do any better than a Surefire with Malkoff LED drop-in.

Dang... 235+ lumens with a 1.5hr run time for an extra $55 (for the M60 drop in)
To match that with a Surefire, looks like you would need a M3 Combat Light at 225 Lumens with a 20min run time and price tag of $270

Your welcome, as I said they don't get any better. The M60 is almost too bright, my next one will be the M60L that puts out 140 lumens for 4.5 hours. Pretty impressive to say the least. Now the only problem is what the heck do I do with all these extra Surefire lamp assemblies I have.
