Installed Timney Trigger on Savage Scout
I finally got around to replacing the factory trigger on my Savage Scout with a new Timney Featherweight.
The replacement was quite easy. Just remove the "e-clip" on the center pin then take out the old trigger and put in the new. The Timney has a coil trigger weight spring as opposed to the piano wire spring that the original had. The instructions that came with the Timney were very good, and I now have a nice, crisp 2.5 lb. trigger in my Savage Scout. |

Good replacement for that junky tort-liability POS in a Ruger 77 Mk II, also.
