1911 Hammer Strut

I am planning to install a new hammer on my 1911 and am worried how difficult it is to remove the strut pin especially if it is staked...Will I have to use a new pin?....Thanks in advance....

Easy

Most pins are not heavily staked in if at all. The strut to hammer pin is captive in the frame cut so the need for staking is only to keep the part together during assembly.

A drop of blue threadlock is a good substitute.
